9/9/06: Played Soccer & Pulled My Hamstring

I played in my first PAASL soccer match this afternoon and managed to pull my hamstring pretty badly within the first couple of minutes of being on the pitch. Soccer requires lots of hard short sprints that I guess cycling just doesn’t condition you for. Initially I came off the field but managed to come back on later and probably played a total of 30 minutes.
